Hi, I'm Chrisie! I'm an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I'm based in Los Angeles, but I provide virtual consultations and classes across the US, so I'm available to you!

 

As a mother of 3 boys (including twins) I had my own share of breastfeeding struggles. Finding appropriate support was the key to working through my challenges. My personal journey inspired me to become a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and to support other parents with their feeding  journey.

My lactation career started as a in-patient hospital LC, community breastfeeding class instructor, and hospital support group leader - but I was drawn to private practice where I am able to establish relationships and support families from prenatal to weaning!

 

In 2011 I founded my private practice, The Land of Milk and Mommy. I have over 15 years of lactation experience, and over the years have supported thousands of families. 

 

In addition to my clinical experience, I've published two best-selling breastfeeding books, and regularly write articles on various breastfeeding topics for media.

I'm passionate about breastfeeding and mental health, expanding access to IBCLC insurance covered consultations, and providing families with warm, personalized, evidence-based care.
