Hi, I'm Chrisie! I'm an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I'm based in Los Angeles, but I provide virtual consultations and classes across the US, so I'm available to you!

 

As a mother of 3 boys (including twins) I had my own share of breastfeeding struggles, and finding appropriate support was key. My personal journey inspired me to become a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and to support other parents with their feeding  journeys.

My lactation career started as a hospital LC, hospital prenatal breastfeeding class instructor, and support group leader. But I was always drawn to private practice where I'm able to establish relationships with families, and support them from prenatal to weaning!

 

In 2011 I founded my private practice, The Land of Milk and Mommy. I have over 15 years of lactation experience, and over the years have supported thousands of families.

Your mental health matters! As a Perinatal Mental health Counselor (PMH-C), I'm a specialist who is also focused on making sure your mental health is prioritized. 

 

In addition to my clinical experience, I've published two best-selling breastfeeding books, and regularly write articles on various breastfeeding topics for media outlets.

I'm passionate about breastfeeding, perinatal mental health, expanding access to IBCLC insurance covered consultations, and providing families with warm, personalized, judgement-free, evidence-based care.
